Can you feel the warm breeze on your face...the salty air tickling your nose? Digging your toes in the hot sand and listening to the waves break on shore?
Well, I sure can't in the frozen tundra also known as Kansas! I just had to dig up this photo I took when we lived in Key West. Ahhh, Key West, the island of conch fritters, Hemingway's cats, hurricanes, cafe con leches....I do miss it very much on days like today...

- Bahia Honda beach
- the history
- cafe con leches (yes, it deserves to be mentioned again)
- cuban food
- FRESH seafood
- living on the waterfront
- great memories of living the simple life, just Matt and I, before kids....
Yes, I know, Hooters. They do have good wings though....
We're on our way to Sunset Key for my ladies luncheon the day before Matt and I got married...
